Game Story
MELBOURNE, Florida (Ticker) -- Zach Day allowed two runs and
four hits in five innings as the Montreal Expos posted a 9-3
victory over the Florida Marlins in Grapefruit League play.
Day, who recorded his second win of the spring, struck out
seven, giving up solo home runs to Abraham Nunez and Damion
Easley.
Jose Vidro, Luis Lopez and Val Pascucci homered for the Expos,
who scored three runs in the first inning, two in the second and
one in the third.
Marlins starter Darren Oliver was tagged for six runs and eight
hits in 4 2/3 innings. |
