Game Story

MELBOURNE, Florida (Ticker) -- Carl Everett hit a pair of solo 
home runs and drove in four runs as the Montreal Expos defeated
a split squad of Cleveland Indians, 7-5, in a Grapefruit League
contest.

Everett homered in the first and sixth innings for the Expos,
who erased a 5-4 deficit with three runs in the eighth.

Mariano Lopez walked the bases loaded before giving up a two-run
double to Jamie Carroll and an RBI single to Joe Vitiello.
Danny Rueckel tossed a scoreless inning to record the win.

Casey Blake hit a three-run homer in the third for the Indians.

Expos starter Zach Day yielded four runs and four hits in three
innings.
