Game Story
WINTER HAVEN, Florida (Ticker) -- Zach Sorenesen had a
sacrifice fly in the eighth inning to lift the Cleveland Indians
to a 3-2 win over the Montreal Expos in a Grapefruit League
game.
Dave Lee got the win despite allowing two runs and four hits in
the top of the eighth. David Riske pitched a scoreless ninth for
his third save this spring.
Bidding for a spot in the rotation, Indians righthander Jeff
D'Amico allowed four hits and struck out two in six innings.
Omar Vizquel had two hits for Cleveland, which hit into three
double plays against starter Zach Day.
Jeff Farnsworth took the loss after allowing one run and two
hits in the eighth. Day went five innings, allowing two runs
and seven hits with five walks and a strikeout. |
