Game Story

FT. LAUDERDALE, Florida (Ticker) -- Sun Woo Kim and Seung Jun Song combined to pitch eight scoreless innings to lead a split squad of Montreal Expos to a 3-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles in a Grapefruit League game. The Expos acquired both Korean pitchers from the Boston Red Sox in July 2002 in a trade for Cliff Floyd. Kim earned his first win of the spring, allowing just two hits in five innings. Song yielded three hits in three innings. Randy Choate worked the ninth to complete the shutout. Rookie Terrmel Sledge doubled home a run and scored on a single by Joe Vitiello in the first inning. Juan Rivera added an RBI single in the third for Montreal. Eric DuBose, who is slated to be in Baltimore's starting rotation, pitched five innings and allowed three runs and six hits.
