Game Story

MELBOURNE, Florida (Ticker) -- Tim Raines Jr. snapped a 
seventh-inning tie with a solo home run, lifting the Baltimore
Orioles to a 7-4 victory over the Montreal Expos in a Grapefruit
League game.

Raines, who broke a 4-4 tie with a homer off Jeff Farnsworth,
finished with three hits, two RBI and two runs scored.

Clay Bellinger smacked a two-run homer off Expos reliever Joe
Eischen in the top of the fourth inning.

In the first inning, David Segui had a run-scoring triple and
finished with two hits and two RBI.

Orioles starter Kurt Ainsworth gave up four runs - two earned -
and five hits in 3 1/3 innings.  He struck out three and walked
one.

Erik Bedard gained the win after tossing 2 2/3 scoreless innings
with four strikeouts. Mike Dejean pitched a perfect ninth to
pick up his second save of the spring.
